Return From Haiti
RSUM has returned from Haiti! We were in Haiti from July 29th to August 5th. We worked with a team accumulated from throughout the U.S. and Canada. We broke ground and dug out the side of a hill where the foundation will go for a new church. This is just the first phase of a much bigger project. We still need your help to build the school!
The organization we worked with on this trip is aHomeInHaiti.org. They are raising the funds (300,000.00 to be exact) to build the home, school and church. The home and school will house and teach developmentally disabled kids, as well as deaf kids to give them an environment that they can grow and flourish in. The church is there for the community and will include a playground and a soccer field. For more info on the funds click here.
