On a particularly hot day during lunch time in July Tulsa had an unexpected outbreak of severe weather. There was a brief tornado touch down reported and straight line winds that reached 100+ mph that stretched from Tulsa all the way to the Arkansas border. Multiple communities experienced damage and once again we were working in our own community. This time we worked in the small community of Coweta, which is located southwest of Tulsa. Over 100,00+ customers lost power, many for days. We spent a few days cutting trees off houses and driveways.
