This week we sent out our monthly Prayer Team Email. This month we focused on praying for friends and colleagues who are working around the world in ever increasingly dangerous areas. Please take a moment and read how you can pray for these incredible people. Whether it is violence or illness, the world is becoming more and more dangerous, our only hope is in Jesus Christ. RSUM Prayer Letter Join Us in Prayer As we watch the news and everything going on in the world around us, our hearts can’t help but break for others. While we usually use our monthly prayer letter to ask for prayer for our ministry, we are asking you this month to join us in praying for other ministries. These are people who are putting their life on the line and making sacrifices that we cannot begin to fathom in order to reach out to those in need in Jesus’ Name. Thank you for bringing them before the Father today.

The Picketts in Northern Iraq Please be praying with us for Grady and Becky Pickett who have been in Northern Iraq for the last four and half years. They reach out to the refugees in Northern Iraq, about forty-five miles from Erbil. Please be praying for God to give them strength and wisdom to minister to the huge influx of refugees. Please also be praying for the safety and protection of their family and those that they work with. May God use them mightily! The Jensens in Ukraine Please be praying with us for the Jensen family, as well as our friend Kim Linza. They will be returning to Ukraine in the next few weeks, continuing to train up the next generation of ministers to reach their country for Christ. Please be praying for God to keep them safe and give them wisdom and direction. Please also pray for them to have a smooth adjustment to living in a new region (they were formally in Crimea). The Beemers in Nigeria Please be praying with us for Matt and Julie Beemer, and their team in Nigeria. Please pray for God to give them wisdom. Please pray for God’s protection from violence outbreaks as well as the Ebola virus. Please pray for the students and children that they are training up to reach their country for Christ, that God would protect and guide each one of them. Please pray with us for the Gospel to continue to change lives in Nigeria.
