Meet Emily Rose Simons
We are excited to announce the arrival of Emily Rose Simons, born at 5:33am weighing 7lbs. 13oz. and 19-1/2″ long. She is healthy, beautiful and doing great.
We thank God daily that everyone is healthy and recovering well. Dara has been tired, but healing great.
Madeline is excited to be a big sister and looks for ways to help whenever she can. We are excited to see them both grow together, side by side.
Scott had his second knee surgery this last week. The operation went smoothly, without incident. The follow-up appointment is in a couple weeks and we are confident that things have been repaired and we will be able to resume normal operations quickly.
As you can see, Madeline has been working hard to make sure Daddy is well taken care of during his recovery!
We are looking to resume our Serve Tulsa Project in a couple weeks with Betty Hickman, continuing where we left off last summer. Many new things have been finished at her house and we are excited to be able to help her with even more.
We are taking a bit of time in the coming weeks to settle in as a new family of four. We are expecting to be back to our normal activity soon. As always, we are monitoring disaster situations and praying if God would use us in each. Please be praying with us as we seek His direction and guidance moving forward.
Ministry Prayer Points
We are in need of a fifth-wheel camper with a toy-hauler to meet our unique travel needs for our new family. With the camper we will be able to travel as a family and fulfill all God has for us to do.
$2017/m in 2017
We are looking to increase our monthly financial support by $2017.00/m in 2017. With a steady increase in expenses we are in need of an increase in partners to help us fulfill the call on our ministry and lives. We never charge anyone for anything we do. Instead we rely on committed loyal monthly partners like you to help us spread the hope of the Gospel and the love of Christ to the world.
