March Update!

Spring Has Sprung!

NJ WinterAt least that is what the calendar says! This picture was taken March 21st in New Jersey. It was a beautiful day, but not exactly what spring should look like. It is a reminder to us that spring weather is unpredictable, and that with spring comes tornado season, followed closely by hurricane season. You can help us prepare to respond by becoming a prayer partner or a financial partner today.

U.S. Travels

Seeing the Fruit of Our Labor

The highlight of our fund-raising trips is when we have the opportunity to check back in with churches that we have helped in the past. This month we have been able to visit wMap of the United Statesith three churches that we worked with in 2012 and 2013. It is so amazing to see how these churches are growing and continuing to impact their community.

Our passion is to help local churches respond to disasters in their own community so that they can impact hurting people’s lives with the Gospel. We are well aware that our model for disaster response looks different than other ministries, but when we see the lasting effect that our partner churches are having in their communities, we know we are on the right track. We wish that we could take each of our partners with us so that you could see for yourselves the impact that your prayers and support are continuing to have throughout the United States.

Tropical Cyclone Pam

VantuatuVanuatu is a small Pacific island of 253,00 people that was hit by a strong tropical cyclone on March 16. Over 166,000 people have been affected on the country’s 22 islands, more than half of the small nation’s population. We are raising finances to send to those who are working with local churches and pastors to help people recover, and we want to give you an opportunity to help. You can give by clicking the donate button below. Please check the “Vanuatu Relief” box before submitting your form. Remember, all donations are tax deductible.
