May Partner Letter

Blessed toBe a Blessing

It is true that we, as believers, are blessed to be a blessing. This last month we had an awesome opportunity to bless a youth pastor friend in need. He needed some h

elp finishing up some remodel work before his family moves into their new home, which is in a new town and new state. With the stresses of taking on a new youth pastor position, moving his family across state lines, and getting to know his new church family, we wanted to do something to help lessen his load.

We are always on the lookout for different ways to bless the local church. Helping a youth pastor in need is just one of those ways we can do it. Thank you for making it possible for us to be able to help expand the Kingdom and be a blessing to a local church in a unique way.

Summer Support Raising

We are currently planning our summer trip to see churches, partners, friends, and family. We are hoping to spend six weeks traveling the country just to say hi. We will also be attending a disaster ministries conference in Wheaton, IL June 21-23. If you are near any of our stops we’d love to see you.

Connecting with our partners has always been a top priority with us. One of our specific goals for this trip is to add regular monthly financial partners. This helps make it possible for us to respond faster and be more productive by giving us a solid budget to plan with.

You can see our tentative schedule in the banner above. To keep up with our updated schedule visit our website and scroll to “Upcoming Events” at the bottom of the page.

Hurricane Preparedness

If you live in an area prone to hurricanes, there’s a good chance you’re already well on your way to finishing your hurricane preparedness checklist. If not, there is still time to get everything in order so if the worst does happen, you’ll be ready!

This year’s season started a bit early with Tropical Storm Alberto making land fall early this week. Although it was a relatively tame storm in comparison, it is still causing problems…

Prayer Corner

Faithful Partners
Praise God with us for everyone who has supported us financially. We are so thankful and blessed to have each of you as a partner. Every bit of support helps and makes it possible for us to travel as a family and fulfill the tasks we have set before us.
Please pray and stand with us for all of our needs to continue to be met. God never ceases to remember us and provide all we need. He is our provider and He will always see us through!

– Pray that Madeline and Emily are able to handle the long travel days and busy schedule as we meet with partners, friends, and family for the next six weeks.

– Pray that we can clearly communicate our heart and call to disaster response ministry.
– Pray that we will see a significant increase in our monthly support to help us budget for our needs.
– Pray that we are sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit and His direction in all we do.
