One Month Later

We’ve spent the past month helping people in the New York/New Jersey area as they recover from the effects of Superstorm Sandy. We’ve met people who have lost homes, lost belongings, lost refrigerators full of food, or just lost hope. We’ve gutted houses, ripped up floors, delivered hot food, and given out canned food. We’ve talked with people, prayed with people, mourned with people, and cried with people. We’ve served alongside incredible volunteers at awesome ministries doing great things for God and the community. It truly has been an honor and a privilege to be able to respond to this disaster. We will be leaving the area tomorrow for Joplin, Missouri, but we look forward to returning to the Northeast in the near future.
