RSUM is Headed to Honduras!
And You Can Be a Part!
Right Side Up Ministries will be going to Honduras in January 2015 to serve alongside Ascend International Ministries and the Goodwin family. The Goodwins have spent the last four years as missionaries in Gracias Lempira, a small town in the center of the mountainous region of western Honduras. This is one of the poorest areas in the country, with most people living without running water and on less than a dollar a day.

The Goodwins oversee a network of over 30 mountain churches, supporting and training local pastors. They also help plant new churches and run a child rescue center. We are excited to serve alongside of them for this month and help them further the impact their ministry is able to have. We will be two extra set of hands while we are there, helping with their child rescue center and village church network. This family’s ministry combines both of our unique passions in world missions.
One of the focuses of Right Side Up Ministries is to provide support to nondenominational missionaries by building relationships, building trust, and being a blessing. We plan on focusing on world missions to support long-term missionaries every winter while natural disasters are not prevalent. We are excited to be spending our first winter with the Goodwins, and even more excited that it happens to be during the coffee harvest season!
We need to raise $3500 to cover a one month trip. This cost includes airfare, transportation, food, housing, and visas for two people, as well as a donation to Ascend. If you would like to be a part of sending RSUM to help the amazing work, you can visit our donation page. Please write Honduras in your check memo line or in the notes on Paypal. Thank you for helping Right Side Up Ministries make an impact with the Gospel around the world!
